Giving our Sis the Spotlight She Deserves

As soon as I caught the news that there might be a woman of color on the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of DC, then I decided that nobody would give Stacie Turner the shine she deserves like I would. This post will be updated as information comes across the wire.

DC’s Black Housewife, Stacie Turner was spotted with other ‘cast members’ at the vote for DC’s Gay Marriage Bill. The Washington Post had this to say:

Bravo’s cameras followed five likely cast members (Lynda Erkiletian, Mary Amons, Stacie Turner, Catherine Ommanney, Paul Wharton) to the D.C. Council meeting on same-sex marriage Tuesday (spoiler alert, reality fans: The bill passed), and then to a party at Long View Gallery celebrating the legislation. Missing in action: Michaele Salahi, whose future with the show is unclear.

The production crew also was spotted filming the bill’s gay sponsor, council member David Catania.

The Washington Post posted this picture earlier this year, but clearly absent is Stacie Turner. What’s up with that?

Cathy "Ashely" Ommanney use to work as a "Hostess" in a up market strip bar in London. She has left a trail of debts after ripping off her old friends in her "climb" in Society.

Cathy ( Ashley) Ommanney also has a Uk criminal record for theft and drugs. The US media should take some time to find out more about her "past" .

Anonymous, thank you for your comments, and I'm so happy that you found the blog. However, I believe you missed the point a tad bit. I'm not here to smear any members of RHODC, this post particularly, and the follow up that I did, was intended to call attention to Stacie Turner. That and that alone. I imagined that Mrs. Turner would not receive the same media highlights that her counterparts would receive. So, I decided that I would bring to light, information on Stacie Turner, an educated, married, Black professional.Again, thanks for checking out the blog and even taking time to make comments. Please check back for other information on Stacie Turner of the Real Housewives of DC. OG

What is this blog about? The Real Socialites of DC would never reduce themselves to such ridiculousness.
