For years I’ve been informally bringing you what I call “The Forecast” and now I have a real forum to share events with you on a weekly basis. This is the location for standing events in Washington, DC. I’ll do my best to bring you unique events as they arise, but check here for the weekly rundown of only the best, OG approved.

Phillips After Five happens every 1st Thursday of the month

The Phillips is open until 8:30pm every Thursday night! On the first Thursday of the month they host the After Five events. Admission is donation based on Thursday evening and during the day Tuesday – Friday! Just remember to tell them you want to see the “Permanent Collection” as they will likely request you to pay the full admission which includes the special exhibit on the third floor.

Visitors under 18 are always free and students and visitors 62 and over pay discounted fees. On Sundays at 4:00pm there is live musical performance, usually classical, included in the admission price of $12. You can view the music schedule here!
